Poetry from within

Life ain't easy.

Some things in life ain't easy,

Some things in life are hard,

Some things are bright and breezy,

Some things will take you far.

To take from life the best things,

The ones you wish to keep,

Open every door you pass,

For the last one has a key.

To walk among the wealthy,

Not rich but meet your needs,

Do away with pointless aspirations,

Materialistic greed.

A rich mans not a great man,

A great man only knows,

The food that's on the table,

And how fast his children grow.

I have not fame or fortune,

For this is not that which I seek,

I have everything a man could need,

A wealth that's mine to keep!
